BENGALURU: The much‑awaited Hosakerehalli flyover is ready to be opened to traffic. The final stage work is under way and it is expected to get a green signal by the end of this week. Traffic jams are expected to ease in the PES College and Banashankari area with the opening of the flyover.

Bengaluru’s long‑pending Hosakerehalli flyover construction has been completed and final‑stage preparations are proceeding briskly for its inauguration.

The construction of the 500‑metre‑long over‑bridge at Hosakerehalli Junction is about 90 per cent complete, and the middle section of the over‑bridge has already been asphalted. Wet mix has been laid on both sides, and the asphalting work is nearing completion. The painting work is also almost finished.
