Lily Allen and Scissor Sisters are set to headline next year's edition of the Mighty Hoopla festival. The Smile hitmaker and Take Your Mama band will take to the stage at the U.K.'s biggest pop festival in London in May 2026. In a U.K. festival exclusive, Allen will perform her new explosive break-up album, West End Girl, in its entirety on Saturday 30 May. Meanwhile, Scissor Sisters - featuring frontman Jake Shears, guitarist Del Marquis and instrumentalist Babydaddy - will close out the festival on Sunday 31 May. Allen shared a link to ticket information on her Instagram Stories on Monday and told fans, "See you there!" Elsewhere, Scissor Sisters celebrated the fact that they were finally headlining Mighty Hoopla after a long relationship with the festival. "We Scissor Sisters have experienced the magic of Mighty Hoopla from every angle: from the front to the back, as fans, friends and special guests (and a few other things in between)," they wrote. "And now, all those moments have led to this... the mother of all Kikis!" Earlier this year, Shears made a surprise appearance during Kesha's headlining set at Mighty Hoopla, with the duo performing a mash-up of Kesha's We R Who We R and Scissor Sisters' Let's Have a Kiki. The Saturday will also feature performances from Jessie J, Todrick Hall, JLS, Tulisa and M People's Heather Small, while Sunday's line-up also includes Five, Perrie Edwards, Alexandra Burke, Trixie Mattel, Liberty X and The Wanted 2.0. Many more acts are still to be announced. The Mighty Hoopla festival takes place in London's Brockwell Park. Tickets go on sale at 10am on Tuesday 11 November.
