HENDERSON, Ky (WEHT) - The Henderson County Democratic Party will host a meet and greet at the JFK Community Center on South Alvasia Street Monday evening.
Party members will be available to guide those considering a run for office. In light of the ongoing government shutdown, they say free chicken dinners will be provided.
Doors will open at 5:30 p.m.

One of those expected to be there is Cooper Beck. Beck is running for one of the at-large seats on the Henderson County Commission in the 2026 election. According to a release, Beck's campaign is focused on safe neighborhoods, economic growth and transparent and accessible government.
