Dearborn Heights Mayor Mo Baydoun has not filed a couple of campaign finance reports, including one that was due two months ago, resulting in the county fining him, according to Wayne County campaign finance records.

The lack of campaign finance reports means that the public does not know how much money Baydoun's campaign has received and spent, and where the money came from or what it was spent on, since July 20. Baydoun had raised $210,297 and spent about $132,000 before July 20, a significant amount for a candidate in the small suburb of about 60,600 residents. Baydoun's reports were still not filed as of Friday, Nov. 7.
