SRINAGAR : Shopian Police in South Kashmir have moved for the cancellation of bail in 13 cases registered under the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act (UAPA). Follow Us On G -N e w s | Whatsapp

Officials said the step followed a comprehensive review of ongoing UAPA cases, which revealed that several accused persons, earlier granted bail by competent courts, had violated bail conditions and re-engaged in activities prejudicial to public order and security.

Police sources said the violations were documented through sustained surveillance and monitoring of UAPA-linked individuals in the district.
