RAICHUR: A police sub-inspector suffered a broken leg and his family members and a driver suffered injuries after the car in which they were travelling crashed into a roadside tree near Muranoor in the taluk on Sunday.

Sub-inspector Arun Kumar Rathod, his family, and a driver were travelling in the car when the accident occurred. His wife, two children, and driver were admitted to a private hospital in Raichur for treatment of their injuries.

The PSI was returning from the CM’s programme in Kudligi and was travelling with his family in a private car when the driver lost control, and the car hit a tree around midnight. The incident occurred under Raichur Rural police station limits.
