Punjab cabinet minister Mr. Harbhajan Singh ETO, on Monday, lashed out at BJP led Centre Government for not announcing date for Senate elections of Punjab University (PU), Chandigarh.

The minister said that though, the central government has taken a step back by revoking the controversial notification but till now, the date for fresh elections has not been announced. He added that Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann led Punjab Government will stand by Punjabis especially students to safeguard their interests and no stone will be left unturned to restore the federal status of the university.
