ORLANDO, Fla. – Just in time for the busy holiday travel season, Florida gas prices have dropped to their lowest point in 2025, offering some relief for drivers.
On Sunday, the state average fell to $2.86 per gallon, the cheapest since December 2023. That’s 11 cents less than last week, 13 cents less than last month, and 27 cents less than this time last year.
“Low gas prices should give travelers confidence as they finalize Thanksgiving road trip plans,” Mark Jenkins, spokesman for AAA, said in a release. But he also cautioned that the familiar pattern of price swings in Florida could mean a rise is coming soon.
