The Houston Astros were expected to be a postseason team this year, but they fell off a cliff late in the season and watched the Seattle Mariners capture the division.

Now, Houston is headed for the offseason, and there are some big decisions on their plate, including the free agency sweepstakes of their ace, Framber Valdez. Jim Bowden of The Athletic recently projected Valdez would sign a massive $190 million deal in free agency.

USA Today's Gabe Lacques recently predicted Valdez would ditch Houston in free agency in favor of a contract with the San Francisco Giants.
