El Paso police are investigating after a pedestrian was struck by a vehicle in Downtown.

The traffic collision occurred about 3 a.m. on Monday, Nov. 10, on Santa Fe Street near Paisano Drive, police spokeswoman Detective Judy Oviedo said in a media message.

The condition of the pedestrian and other details were not immediately released as an investigation by the Special Traffic Investigations Unit continued Monday morning.

Paisano Drive and Santa Fe Street remained closed as of 7:30 a.m. Monday as the investigation continued, according to a Texas Department of Transportation online traffic map.
