The Wolves sent their fans into a frenzy at the home rink on Sunday afternoon, scoring three in a row in the third period to turn what looked like a rout for visiting Petes into a narrow 5-4 Peterborough victory. The Wolves came close to tying it on several occasions with their net empty before the final buzzer sounded.
It was a similar result on Friday night, as the Wolves erased Barrie’s 3-1 lead to tie the game before eventually dropping a 6-3 decision.
