BECKLEY, WV (WVNS) - The Oak Hill Lady Red Devils soccer team just made program history, winning their first AAAA state title in a 2-1 victory over top-seeded George Washington.

“It is just so good. I cannot believe it. But this team works so hard and we are just like, it is unbelievable,” said junior central defensive midfielder Emma Curtis.

“This was our seniors' last game and we wanted to do this for them because they have worked hard for this. We have worked hard for this, and we just wanted to give them the win,” added freshman winger and striker Aubrey Conley.

Freshman winger and striker Aubrey Conley was the only Red Devil to score in both the semi-final and championship rounds. Her goal against the Patriots would eventually prove to be the game winner.
