13 new pay & park facilities to be set up in Vadodara November 10, 2025

Vadodara: The Vadodara Municipal Corporation (VMC) has decided to lease its open spaces, footpaths, and areas under bridges for paid parking on a one-year license basis through public auction. Applications from interested parties have already been invited for 13 such locations.

The city has been grappling with severe traffic congestion due to pressure on roads and indiscriminate parking. Despite having designated parking spaces, the corporation has not been able to generate the expected revenue from paid parking.
