Four people shot, three fatally, in Hardin County

IOWA FALLS, Iowa – Hardin County law enforcement is investigating three people found shot to death over the weekend.

A 911 call to Hardin County Dispatch just before 4 am Sunday reported there were three “unresponsive” people at a location in the 1100 block of Willow Lane in Iowa Falls. Investigators say they found three people inside a home, all dead from apparent gunshot wounds.

A fourth person was taken to Hansen Family Hospital for treatment of a non-fatal gunshot wound.

The Iowa Falls Police Department says an investigation is underway but there is no ongoing threat to the public.

The Hardin County Sheriff’s Office, Hardin County E-Squad, and the Iowa Division of Criminal Investigation is assisting in this case.
