Lawyers have confirmed they are suing a Scots bus company after five people were taken to hospital following a horror double decker smash . ‌

All 11 passengers on board a Lothian bus had to be treated by paramedics when it crashed in a telecoms mast in Edinburgh on November 3. ‌

The dramatic event unfolded on Calder Road in the Sighthill area of the city at around 11.15am, with emergency services racing to the scene. ‌

Photos of the aftermath of the smash show the bus ground to a halt at the side of the road with extensive damage to the front of the vehicle.

And now Thompsons Solicitors has confirmed it is launching legal action on behalf of some of the injured passengers.
