ASHEVILLE, N.C. (FOX Carolina) - The PGA Tour, Biltmore Estate and Explore Asheville announced a new PGA Tour tournament for 2026 on Monday.

The Biltmore Championship in Asheville is set to debut during next year’s FedExCup Fall. The tournament will be Asheville’s first PGA Tour event since 1942, according to officials.

As part of a four-year agreement, officials said that Biltmore Estate and Explore Asheville will serve as co-title sponsors of Asheville’s first PGA Tour event in more than 80 years, with the inaugural tournament set to run from Sept. 17 to Sept. 20 next year at The Cliffs at Walnut Cove.

The Biltmore Championship in Asheville will be broadcast on Golf Channel and three properties produced from PGA Tour Studios, including PGA Tour Live on ESPN+, Sirius XM and the World F
