BOLIVAR, Mo. (KY3) - An event in Bolivar Monday night will kick off the holiday season and remember lost loved ones.
It’s Citizens Memorial Hospital’s annual event to reflect before the celebration and joy the holiday season usually brings.
CMH staff will read out the names of its hospice patients lost in the last year, giving time for both their families and the staff who cared for them to honor their memory.
There will also be musical performances from patients’ families and the Bolivar High School choir.
While it gives time to reflect on family memories this holiday season, it also gives recognition to the staff who works through it each and every year.
