Solihull planners are set to make a final decision on a five-bedroom luxury new house in Dorridge this week.

A scheme to replace a home in Woodchester Road with a bigger, detached property had been objected to by locals before originally going in front of Solihull Council ’s planning committee last month.

The committee deferred their decision saying they needed to carry out a site visit to be able to fully view the property they described as a “building site”.

The plans for the home submitted by applicant Mr Callinan include for it to have five bedrooms, a double garage, and a cinema.
