Agartala, 10 th November 2025 : Former Tripura Chief Minister and Lok Sabha Member of Parliament Biplab Kumar Deb today launched a sharp attack on West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, accusing her of misgovernance and urging voters to support the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in the state.

Speaking at a public gathering, Deb alleged that under Banerjee’s leadership, West Bengal has fallen behind in development, forcing many youths to migrate to other states in search of employment.

“Because of Mamata Banerjee, Bengal is now lagging behind in every field. There was a time when people used to come here for studies and business, but now people are leaving the state,” he said.
