Police are investigating after recovering a body in the Ohio River Nov. 10, according to a news release from Louisville Metro Police.
LMPD responded to a report of a body in the Ohio River near the base of the Abraham Lincoln Bridge around the Louisville shoreline just after 10 a.m., spokesperson Aaron Ellis said. LMPD’s River Unit located a body that “appears to be an adult,” though gender, race and age are unknown, Ellis said.
“We will know more after a postmortem examination is completed,” Ellis said.
