SAN FRANCISCO -- Before Rick Carlisle arrived at his postgame news conference to explain yet another early season loss Sunday, a collection of players emerged from the tunnel leading to the Chase Center visitor's locker room and passed the curtain opening near the dais where Carlisle would speak.

Their street-clothes status for Sunday's game told the story of the Pacers' 114-83 loss to the Golden State Warriors -- and the Pacers' 1-9 season, equaling the worst start in franchise history -- better than anything Carlisle could possibly say. Out of that tunnel walked way more offensive firepower than the Pacers have had healthy and available and it showed.
