Security arrangements will be intensified around the Arun Jaitley Stadium in New Delhi for the final day of the Ranji Trophy Group D match between Delhi and Jammu and Kashmir, following a high-intensity blast near the Red Fort, which is only a few kilometres from the stadium.
Delhi & District Cricket Association (DDCA) secretary Ashok Sharma confirmed the development to news agency PTI on Monday. He also mentioned that he would be contacting Delhi Police authorities to request additional security deployment outside the stadium premises.
