If you step outside this weekend, it might feel more like winter.
A mix of rain and snow is forecast to arrive the night of Nov. 7 and continue until the night of Nov. 8, though an inch or less of accumulation is expected across most of the region, according to the National Weather Service in Sioux Falls.
Then much colder air will move into the area, with wind chills expected to drop to the teens or single digits during the mornings of Nov. 9 and 10. The National Weather Service advised dressing for the weather, checking on outdoor pets and monitoring outdoor pipes.
