The first time Curtis Fong thought that he would quit working as an educator in Calgary was while watching the legislative assembly’s question period on Oct. 27, wherein members debated whether or not to pass legislation to force teachers back to school.
Premier Danielle Smith wasn’t present at legislature that day. Instead, she was on her way to Saudi Arabia to promote the province’s energy and technology industry. She returned from the Middle East on Wednesday.
