Police chief claims he helps ‘get girls off the street’ when caught in prostitution sting

The police chief of Cheshire appeared for an arraignment in North Adams on Monday on a charge of engaging in sexual conduct for a fee.

Michael Alibozek, 53, of Adams, was placed on paid administrative leave by Cheshire town officials last week.
