Cuyahoga Falls police are investigating a shooting that occurred Nov. 9 at a Sheetz gas station, officials reported.

Officers responded to reports of a shooting at the Sheetz at 1210 Main Street at about 4:43 p.m. Upon arrival, police discovered multiple vehicles were struck by gunfire. No one was shot and no injuries were reported, police confirmed.

Police determined the shooting began as an act of road rage in Akron before the vehicles entered Cuyahoga Falls and ended at the gas station. The suspect vehicle was identified as a dark SUV driven by an unidentified male who was accompanied by an unidentified female passenger, Falls city officials stated.

The incident is under investigation by the Cuyahoga Falls Police Detective Bureau.
