Srinagar, Nov 10: In a significant boost to healthcare services in north Kashmir, Uri and Boniyar health blocks of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district are set to receive six new ambulances in the coming days.
Officials said four ambulances have been sanctioned for the Uri block and two for Boniyar. Member of Legislative Assembly (MLA) from Uri, Dr Sajjad Shafi has approved the allotment under his Constituency Development Fund (CDF). The ambulances will be provided to NTPHC Nambla, NTPHC Garkote, NTPHC Isham, PHC Sultandaki, NTPHC Trikanjan, and NTPHC Noorkha in Boniyar – addressing a long-pending demand of residents in these far-flung areas.
