We're already through a second week of college football and NFL action without Disney-owned networks like ABC and ESPN on YouTube TV. And the two sides are still looking far apart in the negotiations.
In an attempt to keep users from canceling YouTube TV, the Alphabet/Google-owned streaming platform is offering a $20 voucher to offset the absence of Disney's networks.
But instead of making the $20 voucher an automatic credit to every YouTube TV subscriber's monthly bill, Google is requiring users to do so manually. The steps aren't complicated, but Google is clearly expecting many users to not take advantage of the offer.
Users should receive an email with a redemption link, but here are the steps to redeem the voucher:
