An arrest has been made following claims of an attempted child abduction at GlasGlow light show in the west end.
Police arrested a 30-year-old man for "acting suspiciously" on Great Western Road on Sunday, November 9. The incident happened at around 8.25pm and reportedly involved a family with a toddler who had been at the popular show in Botanic Gardens.
The alarm was raised after they claimed a man had approached their child as they left the event.
Police officers were called to Great Western Road and a 30-year-old man was arrested and charged in connection with a breach of the peace. He is due to be reported to the Procurator Fiscal, the Record reports.
Police Scotland said "no child was taken" but confirmed an investigation is underway.
