Manitoba tourism leaders are celebrating record-high visitation and spending in 2024, even as operators brace for the financial impact of this past summer’s unprecedented wildfire season.

Travel Manitoba reported at its Annual General Meeting that the province welcomed 10.6 million visitors in 2024, up from 10.4 million in 2023, generating a record $1.89 billion in spending — an increase of more than $70 million year-over-year.
