Veterans and others have the opportunity this week to experience the award-winning National WWII Museum in New Orleans free, the museum announced.
U.S. veterans of all of America's wars and conflicts will be admitted free to the National WWII Museum in New Orleans on Tuesday (Nov. 11), as the military attraction celebrates Veterans Day. A special ceremony at 11 a.m., held in partnership with the city of New Orleans and the Mayor's Military Advisory Committee, will pay tribute to those who served in the U.S. Armed Forces. The ceremony will be livestreamed.
This year’s ceremony will feature a salute to all servicemembers and the presentation of the MMAC Veteran of the Year award to retired Marine Corps Col. Terry Ebbert, former Director of Homeland Security for the City of New Orleans
