Louisville women's basketball went 1-1 to start the season and dropped two spots to No. 22 in the latest AP Top 25 rankings released Monday.
The Cardinals opened the season with a 79-66 loss to top-ranked UConn before beating Northern Kentucky , 89-61, in their home opener Sunday. After getting off to slow starts, the Cardinals scored 33 fourth-quarter points against the Norse to run away with the victory. Laura Ziegler averaged 12.5 points and 14.5 rebounds in her first two games with Louisville.
