Construction is underway on South Korea-based bakery chain Paris Baguette's second Minnesota location.
The French-inspired bakery-café, founded in 1986, opened in Maple Grove last year and will soon land in the east metro at Woodbury Lakes.
Paris Baguette has around 3,600 cafés in South Korea and the company is aiming to open 1,000 locations in the United States by 2030.
The rapid global expansion is also bringing the company's first North American factory to Texas, with the facility set to open near Fort Worth in 2027.
Paris Baguette is best known for its pastries, breads, soft cream cakes and other fresh-daily baked goods, as well as its specialty coffee drinks.
