LIVINGSTON PARISH, La. (WAFB) - A Walker man is facing dozens of charges in connection with an internet child sex crimes investigation.

According to the Livingston Parish Sheriff’s Office, Cameron Broussard, 33, of Walker, was arrested on 50 counts of possession of child sexual abuse material (CSAM) under the age of 13. He was later charged with eight counts of video voyeurism with a victim under the age of 13.

Detectives reportedly began their investigation after receiving a cyber tip from the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) about the possession of Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM).

Sheriff Jason Ard said Broussard was identified as the suspect during the investigation, and evidence obtained by detectives led to an arrest warrant for him.
