WILKES-BARRE, PA – A woman accused of panhandling outside a McDonald’s drive-thru in Wilkes-Barre was arrested Thursday after allegedly providing police with a false identity and being found wanted on an outstanding warrant.

The incident occurred just before 2:40 p.m. at the McDonald’s on 750 Kidder Street. Officers were called to the scene after employees reported a woman soliciting money from customers and refusing to leave despite being told to do so by management.
