A famous actress who starred in countless movies and TV shows throughout her 60-plus year career has entered hospice care.
Sally Kirkland , known best for her role as Anna in the 1987 Golden Globe winner “Anna,” has been placed in hospice care as she battles dementia.
The 84-year-old Hollywood legend entered hospice care at a hospital in Palm Springs, Calif. Kirkland’s representative Michael Greene confirmed the news to TMZ .
A GoFundMe was set up in November to support Kirkland’s medical care. The account has received almost $60,000 in donations as it nears its goal of $65,000.
The fundraiser stated that Kirkland had fractured her four bones in her neck, right wrist, left hip and battled two separated life-threatening infections over the past year.
