At 11:55 a.m. on Monday, the National Weather Service issued an updated high wind watch valid from Wednesday 7 p.m. until Thursday 10 a.m. for Northern and Eastern Klamath County and Western Lake County and Central and Eastern Lake County.
The weather service describes, "South winds 30 to 40 mph with gusts up to 60 mph possible."
"High winds may move loose debris, damage property and cause power outages. Travel could be difficult, especially for high profile vehicles," describes the weather service. "Monitor the latest forecasts and warnings for updates."
