LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) - Louisville Mayor Craig Greenberg and other city officials are set to hold a press conference regarding the clean up of the fatal UPS plane crash.
UPS 2976 crashed shortly after takeoff on Tuesday, Nov. 4, 2025. The National Transportation Safety Board says it appears the MD-11F aircraft lost its left engine, resulting in the loss of control of the plane.
The crash killed 14, including the UPS flight crew. The plane crashed into two businesses resulting in the deaths of several on the ground.
The mayor is set to give an update on the cleanup and access to the crash site.
