Projet Montréal is officially challenging the results of four election night outcomes.

Coming off a resounding defeat, the party is requesting a judicial recount for the borough mayor race in Lachine as well as three other councillor seats.

“In all of these elections, Projet Montréal has been informed of several concerns that may affect public confidence in the results,” the party said in a news release Monday.

In Lachine, Projet Montréal incumbent mayoral candidate Maja Vodanovic lost the race to Ensemble Montréal’s Julie-Pascale Provost by only 26 votes, with 289 rejected ballots.

Vodanovic had held the position since 2017.
