Arkansas' population of 3.1 million includes some 222,000 military veterans, whose service to their country is being specially saluted today as the nation's commemorates Veterans Day. Although today is when their service is spotlighted with a federal holiday, their patriotic roles in war and peace are honored year-round at military museums across the state.
