As the nation prepares to observe Veterans Day on Tuesday, November 11, 2025 , Houstonians have a special opportunity to show appreciation for those who have served in the armed forces. Veterans Day, originally called Armistice Day, honors the courage, dedication, and sacrifices of military personnel, past and present. Across Houston, local restaurants are paying tribute with complimentary meals and special offers for veterans and active-duty service members.
