KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) - Just over a year and a half after gun violence took the life of an 11-year-old girl, the person responsible has pleaded guilty to second-degree murder.

Re’mori Roath, born in 2007, was arrested in May 2024 at school and later charged with second-degree murder, two counts of armed criminal action and unlawful use of a weapon. His charges stemmed from a shooting that took place a month prior, on April 10, 2024, near 33rd Street and Flora Avenue.
