PLAINS, Pa. — Someone desecrated a crypt at a Luzerne County mausoleum earlier this month and removed the remains of two people, the Plains Twp. police said.

The burglary at Good Shepherd Memorial Mausoleum on Westminster Road in Plains Twp. happened sometime between Nov. 1 and Nov. 6.

The remains of two people were removed from their crypts. Police did not immediately release further information about the crime.

Anyone with information was asked to contact the police by calling either 570-829-3432 or 911.
