NEW HAVEN, Conn. (WFSB) - With the coldest weather of the season approaching, heating companies across the state are getting busy as residents prepare their homes for winter.
Leonard Branch of New Haven said he’s ready for the cold weather. The heat at his new apartment works great, he said.
“The heat’s included. It works. It might work a little too good, so I’m kind of fortunate,” Branch said.
Christopher Piroli with Viglione Heating and Cooling in East Haven said his company has been getting calls for seasonal maintenance tune-ups.
“Now is a good time to get your unit ready to go, get filters changed, check your carbon monoxide detectors, and make sure those are in working order for safety reasons,” Piroli said. “15–20 years is the life expectancy of our equipment, so now’s the time
