BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) -- A Buffalo woman pleaded guilty to manslaughter last week after she hit and killed a man following an argument in Cheektowaga last May, according to the Erie County District Attorney's Office.
Officials said 22-year-old Iyanna Scott was at a car wash with two men on Walden Avenue on the evening of May 19, 2024. An argument ensued and turned physical on Scott's end before the men walked away.
While the men crossed Union Road, Scott accelerated her vehicle and hit 21-year-old Demario Patterson. He was taken to ECMC and later died from his injuries.
