The Down Syndrome Association of Central New Jersey is a vital resource for families who receive a Down Syndrome diagnosis in pregnancy or after their child is born and supports them for life.

The association also takes the time to help communities learn about Down Syndrome in order to promote inclusion. A local organization supporting people with Down Syndrome and their families was one of the winners of this year's Local Impact Grants. NBC10's Erin Coleman caught up with Joellen Boyd who is the president of Down Syndrome Association of Central New Jersey about the work they do.
