SHREVEPORT, La. (KSLA) - A 21-year-old Shreveport man was arrested after admitting to shooting his cousin, according to police.
Officers with the Shreveport Police Department (SPD) responded to the 9200 block of Biddle Drive just after midnight Nov. 4 in reference to a male suffering from a gunshot wound. When they got there, officers found a male victim lying on his right side with a towel wrapped around his left thigh.
Patrol officers searched the area and found Jaylon Bell walking away from the home. During the investigation, he admitted to shooting his cousin. Officers also discovered that he was still had the firearm used in the incident.
Currently, it is unclear what led to the shooting or whether it was a result of a prior conflict. Bell was arrested and charged with one count of
