The Arizona State Board of Education has released school letter grades for the 2024-25 School year and Scottsdale Unified School District continued to excel.
As a whole, the district received an “A” from the Arizona State Board of Education for the third year in a row. The board began issuing grades for entire school districts again in 2023-24 year, after pausing the practice in 2015.
In terms of individual schools, there was very little change in general in last year’s grades from the 2023-24.
The only change was at the “C” rating level. In all, 22 of SUSD’s 30 schools earned an “A” rating, six schools earned a “B” rating and two earned a “C” rating.
That means one school, Tonalea Middle School, slipped from a “B” to a “C” when compared to 2023-24.
