This in from TSN hockey commentator Cameron Gaunce, a former NHL/AHL player, his take that it’s time for the Edmonton Oilers to trade for a new goalie because starter Stuart Skinner and back-up Calvin Pickard aren’t getting it done.
Gaunce spoke after Edmonton’s 9-1 loss to the Avs of Colorado where Skinner was responsible to some degree for the first three goals against, two hard outside shots from Cale Makar, followed up by a rebound shot off an outside point shot.
“This is the same thing that’s been happening over and over with Skinner,” Gaunce said. ” You saw it in the playoffs last year, and you’ve seen it before that.
