The LSU women’s soccer team earned a No. 4 seed in the NCAA tournament during Monday's selection show and will host a first-round game in Baton Rouge to start competition.
The Tigers, who are in the Vanderbilt portion of the bracket, will play Houston Christian at 7 p.m. on Friday in a game that will be played at LSU Soccer Stadium.
Houston Christian (12-8-2) earned an automatic NCAA bid by winning the Southland Conference tournament.
The winner of LSU-Houston Christian will advance to play on Nov. 20 against the winner of Iowa and South Dakota State.
Vanderbilt beat LSU (13-5-4) in the SEC championship game on Sunday in a game that was decided by a penalty shootout.
